Our freezing spell

So I'm sure you all have heard of the freeze America and Canada are going through right now... as well as all the snow we have accumulated over the past couple days (since Monday morning).

Here are some pictures from our window on Monday morning...

I enlarged this picture to show you the temperature... this was before the freeze set in...since this picture we have experienced up to -3 F with the wind chill making it feel -12 F outside.. some places even got down to -18 F during the night...

We had another excitement Monday...

Two fire trucks...

This one pulled up in front of our house because there were two already down the street in front of the house they were inspecting... these men had the whole garb on with the O2 tank and ax ready to knock down doors and windows

This house was the center of attention for about 3 hours... thankfully there was no visible fire (that I could see from my window) but it was the most excitement we have had on this street in a while.

This puppy was all ears as he watched the whole thing.. barking at each fireman who dared to get out of the truck and walk close to our sidewalk.. :)

He wouldn't budge untill I closed the curtain and walked away myself
