"The Divine Weaver"

We were again faced with the sudden loss of a child at 13 weeks.
We again were reminded
"The dark threads are as needful
In the Weaver's skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned."

"Be still and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah."
Psalm 46 : 10 & 11

A decision has been made..

In May Ian graduated with a Theology major after graduating last year with a Masters of Divinity.
In June Ian was examined by the Free Reformed Synod and was deemed eligible for receiving calls from churches with in the FRC.
By the time we had arrived in Scotland for our summer holidays Ian had received 6 calls from different churches in the US as well as Ontario, Canada.

We wish to express our thankfulness to those who have prayed for us that the Lord's will be done. The words of encouragement have helped us to look for the Lord's will and not be persuaded by man's desires.
Galations 1:10 "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."
After much prayer and consideration, Ian has felt led to accept the call to the Free Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. That is the church where I (Lenelle) spent most of my childhood in and we look forward to starting this new chapter in our life with the Lord's blessing.

Our thoughts and prayers go with the 5 other churches as they seek the Lord's will in looking for a pastor to shepherd them.

Thank you again to all who have encouraged us. Your prayers and support mean a lot to us and we value your friendship!

More of favorite "toys"

Here are some "toys" Joshua loves to play with...

Our juicer top... he LOVES putting the "pusher" into the spout and taking it back out again.. He will complain if the juicer is on the counter and he is not able to play with it.... it is now in the cupboard 'hiding away" from little eyes. :)

Another "toy"... The vitamix container with the "pusher" for holding the fruit in the container as it is on... As I put fruit into it he will hand me the top and the "pusher" to put together. When it is all done, he wants to be the one to take the "pusher" out. A little harder to hide this one since we use it every day.
