Last week, Ian and I traveled to Lochcarron to visit family on his dad's side.
We were able to stop and see the grave site of Lachlan Mackenzie who was a well known preacher for 37 years in Lochcarron before he passed away in 1819.

It was hard to read it off the stone itself so someone had put a plaque next to it explaining what it said.

Interesting story about Ceit Mhor.. and Lachlan Mackenzie.. (buried in the same graveyard as well..) More on that tomorrow!!
